How to Perform Tadasana?

Here are the steps of instructions how to perform Mountain Pose (Tadasana) properly:

  1. Stand on the floor with your feet together and toes is touching the floor.
  2. Standing straight and ensure that your body weight is not shifted forward or backward.
  3. Lift your knee  caps slightly by engaging your thigh muscles.
  4. Keep your legs straight and relaxed.
  5. Stand tall and gently lengthen the spine.
  6. Roll your shoulder back and down to opening the chest.
  7. Keep gazing forward to maintain the balance.
  8. Your chin should be parallel to the floor.
  9. Allow your arms is resting on the sides of your body and extend your finger straight and active.
  10. Breath deeply and focusing to maintain the balance.
  11. Stay in this position for a few second and maintain your balance.
